Job Opportunity: Operator in Training (PDF)
The Washington Twp Municipal Utilities Authority, in Long Valley, NJ, is hiring an apprentice to develop the skills necessary for growth in the operation and maintenance of our water and wastewater systems. This Operator-In-Training position includes paid on-the-job training, educational expenses for earning industry licenses, benefits and paid time off. Advancement is anticipated as skills are developed. Experience not essential. Demonstration of mechanical/plumbing ability is a plus. The ability to perform manual labor that requires lifting 50 pounds and spending the majority of the day working outdoors is required. The 2025 hourly rate for this position is $22.75.
