Sewerage Service Extended
The MUA recently filled an amendment to it’s Wastewater Management Plan (WMP) with the NJ Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). This Plan shows were we may provide sewerage services.
The revised WMP identifies several areas within Washington Township where septic systems are, at best, marginally suitable due to soil conditions. If the WMP revisions are approved by DEP, we hope to be able to offer sewer service at some point in the future to some of the following areas. On Schooley’s Mountain: Sandt Lane and sections of West Springtown Road. In Long Valley the area along Bartley Road from the High School to East Mill Road (Old Rt 24) are included for connection.
